Comment rendre une expression inarticul\u00e9e adress\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;ouie par le biais de moyens sp\u00e9cifiques au sens de la vue et comment rendre sensiblement le caract\u00e8re proprement indicible et infigurable du cri ? Cette relation oxymorique des modalit\u00e9s sensorielles de la vision et de la phonation, les peintres l&rsquo;ont trait\u00e9e en composant avec la Figure et la figuration, pour suivre G. Deleuze dans son analyse des tableaux de Bacon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pris dans ce dilemme, Apelle, afin de r\u00e9ussir le rendu de l&rsquo;expression d&rsquo;extr\u00eame souffrance de son Prom\u00e9th\u00e9e, n&rsquo;h\u00e9sita pas \u00e0 livrer son mod\u00e8le au supplice du h\u00e9ros antique, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 son meurtre, entre performance et rituel. Les apories pr\u00e9alablement d\u00e9sign\u00e9es s&rsquo;ouvrent ainsi sur des questionnements qui touchent l&rsquo;\u00e9thique du faire pictural, en altercation ininterrompue avec la violence du r\u00e9el de la cr\u00e9ation.
