Elle se voit port\u00e9e \u00e0 son comble dans le groupe <em>Pers\u00e9e et la Gorgone <\/em>de Camille Claudel. Dans <em>L&rsquo;\u00c2ge m\u00fbr <\/em>l&rsquo;artiste avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 tendu au monde<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">un miroir de sa rupture d\u00e9vastatrice avec Rodin. L\u00e0, ce miroir est devenu plus d\u00e9formant, plus terrible encore. Nous verrons comment s&rsquo;y superposent la violence \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153uvre et la violence de l&rsquo;\u0153uvre, puis la violence faite \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153uvre et la violence d&rsquo;exister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En s&rsquo;appuyant sur un mythe capable de lui fournir une mise en forme de son drame intime, Camille Claudel pr\u00eate ici ses propres traits \u00e0 la Gorgone d\u00e9capit\u00e9e par Pers\u00e9e, \u00ab celui qui tue sans regarder\u00bb. Rien n&rsquo;est plus terrible que cette t\u00eate tranch\u00e9e qui, effray\u00e9e, prend conscience dans le reflet du miroir <em>et <\/em>de sa folie <em>et <\/em>de sa mort. C&rsquo;est toute l&rsquo;horreur d&rsquo;un \u00eatre &#8211; violent\u00e9e et violentant &#8211; qui bascule dans le n\u00e9ant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour faire \u00ab un sacrifice humain \u00bb &#8211;&nbsp; ce sont ses propres mots &#8211; Camille Claudel a d\u00e9truit le pl\u00e2tre de cette \u0153uvre dont nous poss\u00e9dons seulement une photographie la montrant elle, face \u00e0 sa cr\u00e9ation plus grande que nature. L&rsquo;artiste toise f\u00e9rocement sa sculpture comme pour appr\u00e9cier si elle lui est sup\u00e9rieure en puissance destructrice. Cette photographie annonce tristement sa d\u00e9ch\u00e9ance finale. La destruction de l&rsquo;\u0153uvre est-elle un \u00e9quivalent suicidaire, s&rsquo;attaquant \u00e0 la part la plus vivante en elle, \u00e0 savoir sa cr\u00e9ation ?
