Klimt n\u2019a pas d\u00e9sir\u00e9 la femme qu\u2019il aimait, n&rsquo;a pas aim\u00e9 les femmes qu&rsquo;il d\u00e9sirait, n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 le p\u00e8re de ses quatorze enfants naturels mais a engendr\u00e9 tableaux et fresques jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 sa mort.<br>Son \u0153uvre la plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Le Baiser plonge le spectateur dans un ravissement sans nom. Le ravi se ment. Nous sommes interpell\u00e9s par l&rsquo;absence de regard des deux personnages repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, le rythme du mouvement des mains s\u2019enroulant comme une spirale autour des visages, \u00e0 la fois dans une sym\u00e9trie et une asym\u00e9trie, cr\u00e9ation d\u2019harmonie et de beaut\u00e9. Les corps s\u2019\u00e9vanouissent dans une juxtaposition d\u00e9corative de formes g\u00e9om\u00e9triques qui n\u2019est pas sans \u00e9voquer le morcellement psychotique.<br>Selon Lacan, dans le champ scopique ce qui d\u00e9termine le sujet dans le visible, c\u2019est le regard qui est au-dehors : \u00ab Je suis regard\u00e9, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire je suis tableau \u00bb. Le tableau ne joue pas dans le champ de la repr\u00e9sentation, sa fin et son effet sont ailleurs. Le tableau vient se placer dans l&rsquo;encadrement d\u2019une fen\u00eatre. Il s\u2019agit de ne pas voir ce qui se passe par la fen\u00eatre. La beaut\u00e9 rend \u00e0 la fois triste et heureux, elle inspire parfois l\u2019effroi. Toute \u0153uvre de beaut\u00e9 renferme l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience de la d\u00e9pression et de la mort. L&rsquo;amour rouvre la porte \u00e0 la perfection.
