Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 exploites selon les \u00e9poques et les pays.de fa\u00e7on diverse. Reprenant ces conceptions \u00e0 son actif Jacques Dalcroze (Vienne 1865 &#8211; Gen\u00e8ve 1950) eut le m\u00e9rite de les exploiter, en mettant en \u00e9vidence les correspondances entre le rythme de la musique et les rythmes corporels.<br>Bien que l\u2019objectif de Dalcroze f\u00fbt essentiellement p\u00e9dagogique, il faut bien admettre qu\u2019il ouvrit ainsi la voie \u00e0 la th\u00e9rapie musicale en permettant la d\u00e9couverte et la prise de contact directe des rythmes corporels, point de d\u00e9part de la communication.
