Est-ce un caprice de mode ou la d\u00e9couverte \u00e9vidente, bien que tardive. des dimensions psychologiques inh\u00e9rentes \u00e0 cette image ? A la r\u00e9flexion, je m&rsquo;\u00e9tonne surtout de l\u2019\u00e9cart existant entre l&rsquo;anciennet\u00e9 de son utilisation en milieu psychiatrique et la pauvret\u00e9 de th\u00e9orisation qu&rsquo;elle a pu, jusqu&rsquo;ici, susciter. Comment expliquer que, sur ce th\u00e8me, aucun colloque n&rsquo;ait eu lieu en France depuis la fin du XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, jusqu&rsquo;aux journ\u00e9es de printemps de la SFPE des 26 et 27 mai 1984 ? A pr\u00e9sent, on voit se multiplier th\u00e8ses et m\u00e9moires sur le sujet. Remercions le Docteur WIART et, avec lui, toute la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Psychopathologie de l&rsquo;Expression d&rsquo;avoir contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 combler en partie cette lacune, en permettant une rencontre entre photographes et professionnels de la psychiatrie. Pourtant, et j&rsquo;allais dire d&rsquo;\u00e9vidence, la photographie ne se pr\u00eate que trop bien \u00e0 la mise en sc\u00e8ne des fantasmes.
